-Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga, Ujjain

The most famous historical temple in Madhya Pradesh, the jyotirlinga, attracts a vast number of devotees every day, is known as Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga. The name is said to have taken from the Mahakali avatar made by Lord Shiva years back to destroy the demon, Dushane.

He resided in the holy city of Ujjain after vanquishing the devil. The temple is situated at the banks of Rudrasagarlake .

- Omkareshwar Temple, Madhya Pradesh

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the Omkareshwartemple,Khandva districts  is located at the banks of river Narmada which takes the shape of “Om.” .The temple has a Lord Shiva shrine .

- Kal Bhairav Temple, Ujjain

Kal Bhairav is said to be the guardian of the city, Ujjain. The temple is amongst the highly visited as well as famous temples in Madhya Pradesh. The temple is located at the banks of river Shipra, Kal Bhairav is said to be a form(incarnation) of Lord Shiva.

- Bada Ganesh Mandir, Ujjain

Bada Ganesh Mandir is a historical temple in Madhya Pradesh located near the Mahakleshwar mandir.

Apart from Lord Ganesha, there is a bronze idol of Hanuman and mother Yashodhara holding baby Krishna in her arms. Devotees from different parts of the world come to worship the Lord.

-Chaturbhuj Temple In Khajuraho:

Chaturbhuj is a Sanskrit term that means “four-armed one,” referring to Lord Vishnu.

Lord Vishnu is honoured in the Chaturbhuj temple at Khajuraho. This UNESCO-listed temple, which dates back to 1100 AD, is a world-historic siteIt was erected by the Chandela dynasty’s Yasovarma.

- Kandariya Mahadeo Temple, Khajuraho-

The Kandariya Mahadeva temple, which is situated in Khajuraho, is the largest and most magnificent of the mediaeval temple group. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of linga and signifies “Great God of the Cave.”

This Shiva temple in Madhya Pradesh is decorated with over 900 stone sculptures. Surya, Brahmi, Maheshwari, Kumari, Vaishnavi, and other gods and goddesses are among the gods and goddesses shown. The niches are also adorned with erotic sculptures, which are a big draw for visitors.

- Javari Temple, Khajuraho

A noteworthy shrine, Javari Temple, was constructed in the late 10th century is located on the eastern side of the Khajuraho temple complex. The Khajuraho temple in Madhya Pradesh has carvings on the outer walls, and the interior of the temple consists of Nirandhara temple having mandapa and sanctum. With beautiful sculptures adorning the walls, Javari temple is known for its immense beauty.

Pashupatinath Temple, Mandsaur-

A site of spiritual significance in Mandsaur, Pashupatinath Temple is popular for its eight-faced shiva linga. Made of red stone, polished so it shines like marble, the shivalinga weighs approximately 4,600 Kgs and is almost 3.5 m tall. The eight faces are carved upon the linga into rows and depict Shiva as Bhava, Pashupati, Mahadeva, Ishaan, Rudra, Sharva, Ugra, and Ashani.

- Chaturbhuj Temple, Orchha-

A fort styled templed built in mid 15th century by Raja Madhukar, Chaturbhuj temple name resonates with Lord Rama (Chaturbhuj- one who has four arms).

- Saas Bahu Temple, Gwalior-

This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu who is also called the Sahastravbahu. Located in Gwalior, this temple was made by King Mahipala and with time the name of the temple changed which is believed to be because of the mispronunciation.

Featuring beautiful carvings on the wall and magnificent artistic skills, this temple is a treasured sightseeing.

Chausath Yogini Temple in Morena:

The Chausath Yogini temple, located in the Morena area, is one of the few Yogini temples that is still in good shape. A round hall with 64 rooms, a mandapa, and a circular courtyard where Lord Shiva is worshipped make up the temple.

Bhojeshwar Temple, Bhojpur-

Bhojeshwar Temple has located around 28 km from Bhopal. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and beckons a large number of devotees, especially on Shivratri.

Carved out of a single stone, the massive linga in the sanctum stands tall at 2.35 m with a circumference of nearly 6m. Its amazing architecture has earned it the title 'Somnath of the east'.

-The Ram Raja Temple- 

-The Ram Raja Temple is a temple in OrchhaMadhya PradeshIndia. It is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage and receives devotees in large numbers regularly and is also commonly known as Orchha Temple. The annual domestic tourist number is around 650,000 and the foreign tourist number is around 25,000.

-Bageshwar Dham Sarkar 

is a Hindu Pilgrimage and Temple Site dedicated to Lord Hanuman in Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh State of India.

The Presiding deity of temple lord Hanuman in form Bageshwar Balaji is belived to be self-styled.The Temple is maintained by Bageshwar Balaji Seva Samiti, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri is serving as the Chief and Head Priest of Dham. People from across India visit dham to seek blessing of Deity Hanuman.
