Rajya Sabha passed the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Bill 2020 on 22 September.

The bill was introduced by the Minister of State (MoS) for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution Danve Raosaheb Dadarao on 14th September 2020 in the Lok Sabha.
