In I st five year plan the……..planned development of agriculture began in the state.

In the  IInd plan ……….M.P.state warehousing corporation was established in Bhopal . 

In second five year plan 1956-61, 90 crore rupees given for agriculture .

In third five year plan 61-66, 29 crore were given for agriculture.

Before fourth five year plan there was plan holiday from 1966-68. 

In 4th five year plan the green revolution started in M.P. In Forth five year plan expenditure of 127 crore rupees on agriculture.  In this plan, the ….M.P. agro - industries corporation was established in Bhopal .

Vth five year plan (1974-78), the slogan of ….removal of poverty was given,…. 20 point program was started for development of agriculture & rural areas.  In this plan, in Bhopal Land development corporation was established in  1977-78 .

VIth five year plan (1980 - 85) 583 crore rupees were targeted.  In 1980 M.P. seeds & farm development corporation was established.

VIIth five year plan (85-90), 434 crore rupees expenditure was done.

VIIIth five year plan (92 - 97), 1130 crore rupees expenditure was done.

Xth five year plan (2002-2007), in M.P.  ISO-palm scheme began in M.P. The pulses development programe were launched, oil-seeds program were launched & maize development program were launched in 2007 .
