Why Central Vista is in News?

-In 5 January 2021, the S. C. has allowed the Central Vista Project to go ahead.

-A three-judge Supreme Court Bench of Justices A. M. Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and Sanjiv Khanna pronounced the 2-1 judgment.

Justices A. M. Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari formed the majority while Justice Sanjiv Khanna pronounced a separate judgment.

What is Central Vista?

Currently, the Central Vista of New Delhi houses Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, North and South Block, India Gate, National Archives among others.
