What are the State Civil Services?

State Civil services is the body of government officials who are employed inciviloccupations that are neither political nor judicial.

-Permanent ,Paid ,Skilled .

-Selected on the basis of merit , promoted on the basis of a merit and seniority system ..

Exam pattern of MPPSC is as follows-

1-Preliminary Exam Pattern

-How many Papers (Marks /Pattern) are in Pre exam Pattern for Civil Services ?

There are following 2 papers in pre exam.

-Paper I (General Studies)

-Paper II (Aptitude)

Each paper will have 100 questions, and each right attempt will be awarded 2 marks.

There is no negative marking in the prelims exam of MPPSC state services .

-What is generally the Cut Off For MPPSC Prelims?

-Cut off in the year 2018 for Gen category was 138/200.

2- Written Exam Pattern

The Written examination will consist of 6 papers of conventional essay type questions.

What is the Exam Pattern for General Studies I, II ,III & IV?

MPPSC Mains exam pattern for General Studies I, II & III (Paper I, II & III) can be checked below

Each paper will have

-Part A (150)Marks -Divided in 05 units(30 marks)

Each unit has 03 very short (10 words /3 Marks),02 short (50 words/05 Marks) and 01 essay type(200 words /11 Marks) answer.

- Part B(150)Marks Divided in 05 units(30 marks)

Each unit has 03 very short (10 words /3 Marks),02 short (50 words/05 Marks) and 01 essay type(200 words /11 Marks) answer.

- MPPSC Mains Exam Pattern for General Studies IV.

-GS-4 will be divided into 5 units-

-Each unit from 1 to 4 has

-05 very short (10 words /2 Marks),

-02 short (50 words/05 Marks) and

-01 essay type(200 words /20 Marks) answer.

-Thus each unit will be of 40 marks each(from 1 to 4)

-5 th Unit-

2 Case studies ,each 20 marks (word limit each 500 words)

-What is the Cut Off For MPPSC Civil services mains?

In MPPSC the Cutoff in 2017 Gen category was 741/1400 (53%) for OBC it was 720/1400 (51%) .

Stage -3… Personality Test ( Interviews)-

The Interview or Personality Test carries 175 marks, and the candidates will be assessed in multiple aspects.

There is no cutoff for Interview.

-What is Personality test for MP Civil Services ?
