ICC MEN’S T20 WORLD CUP 2026

In the grand finale held at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs. Batting first, India posted a dominant 255/5, the highest-ever score in a T20 World Cup final. RANJI TROPHY TITLE (2025–26) 

In a watershed moment for Indian domestic cricket, Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) scripted history by clinching their maiden Ranji Trophy title (2025–26) on February 28, 2026. Facing eight-time champions Karnataka at the KSCA Hubballi Ground, J&K secured the trophy in their first-ever final appearance.

Match Highlights

  • The Decider: While the final ended in a draw, J&K was declared the champion by virtue of a massive 291-run first-innings lead.
  • Batting Dominance: J&K posted a monumental 584 in their first innings, anchored by Shubham Pundir (121) and supported by half-centuries from Paras Dogra and others.
  • Bowling Heroics: Pacer Auqib Nabi was the star, taking 5/54 to bowl Karnataka out for 293. His victims included star players like KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal.
